The man on the phone was super nice and explained everything and said he thinks they come with side potatoes and if not he will include them in for me! Super nice. Only thing I’d change is add some spinach in the sandwich and it’s perfect! I’ll probably order again. I really do wish I had more options to order sides or even a coffee or tea on Uber eats though and not just water or pop. Either way I’d recommend especially if you’re a vegetarian like me! ”

I remember someone had taken me here over 20 years ago for lunch and I was shocked to find out it was still there when I was in the area. When you try it, you definitely know why it's lasted so long. Prices and quality of food are top-notch!! ”

Sam is a wonderful host along with the Polish woman who's name I didn't catch. It's very easy to tell everyone working here takes pride in making sure their customers are satisfied. If you get a chance to stop here it's an absolute must for lunch. ”
“ First time trying this sandwich shop. Came highly recommended, and accompanied the recommender. I had a club on rye, toasted, with cheddar, mayo, and honey mustard. Thick sliced cooked ham like mom used to make, with massive chunks of turkey, carved from a breast, also like mom used to make, and topped with smokey bacon. The flavours of the various meats came through, despite the toppings and sauces. I found the coleslaw a little salt-less, thinking that some salt would have added something. I mean, don’t get me wrong, the cabbage flavour came through, but I felt it needed something, maybe salt, or maybe a wee bit of sweetness, yes some sugar or something. Bottom line, was a great lunch and I am already thinking of the next visit and which way to go, sandwich wise. I am thinking egg salad, hopefully like mom used to make. ”
